Outreach Training and Tours

Grange School is committed to supporting the autism community across Manchester through high-quality education, training and outreach. As part of this commitment, Grange School offers outreach support to schools and resource provisions across Manchester.

The Outreach Team provides practical advice and support to help schools develop their understanding of autism and strengthen autism-informed approaches within their own settings. The aim is to build the confidence, knowledge and capacity of staff to effectively meet the needs of autistic children and young people.

The outreach offer includes:

• In-reach visits and tours of Grange School, providing opportunities to see autism-informed practice in action.
• Training sessions at Grange School covering a range of areas relating to autism and supporting autistic pupils. Please see the training dates below.
• In-class observations at Grange School, providing visiting professionals with the opportunity to observe approaches, strategies and practice within the classroom environment.

The Outreach Team draws on the knowledge and experience of colleagues across Grange School, allowing support and training to reflect the needs of individual schools and settings.
